School Story:

Attended & graduated from Thomas Jefferson in 1962. Returned to teach there in from 1966-2000. Failed at retirement and tutored from 2001-2020. Helped organize the Tee Jay Vikings Fund a 501c3 for the benefit of Thomas Jefferson High School students and staff. Due to the generous donations of alumni, neighbors, Westwood Baptist Church, and Hope Church, we have renovated the locker room, donated a new school marque, donated a baseball scoreboard, installed over 75 whiteboards in classrooms, awarded scholarships, donated 15 tables for special events, and other projects. Graduated from Tee Jay in 1962, graduated from Frederick College in 1966, returned to Tee Jay in 1966 and taught there, retiring in 2020. Tutored at Tee Jay from 2001-2020. The Tee Jay Vikings Fund continues to support Tee Jay by funding the reading project for the library, 20 new computers in the library, supporting the athletic programs, and awarding scholarships through donations made by alumni and others. The current Vikings Fund project is providing box lunches for the spring (baseball, softball, track, & soccer) athletic teams when they have away games, meets, or matches.

Liz, I'm so sorry to learn about the passing of your father. He had a long and productive life passing ono his knowledge in the medical profession to so many. May he rest in peace.
