Michael, thanks for taking on the weight. Looking forward to seeing everyone attending the 40th.

So, big question... what's in the box lunch?

Warm regards,

Craig

Question: the ** in the classmate profile = in memory, that mean these classmates have died? Does anyone know how, when or what happened to any these friends ?  WV

Wilson, I know about two of our class mates in the "In Memory" section.  Fran Shevitz died in a car accident.  Rosa Schiff died of breast cancer.  They both died in the same year a few months apart.

Thank you to whoever did the website.  It is outstanding and took quite a bit of time.  Thanks for your hard work and effort.

I was able to track down Chuck Herzog in Minn.  I left a message requesting help with a Calculus problem.  Mrs. Baker would assign 2 hrs of homework at the end of class(anyone remember)? Iwas sad to read of Mary Marsh's passing.  I have an old picture from Mary Munford of her along with several other 1970 TJ classmates.  Wilkie Wilkinson had a really good picture of  an early Westhampton class.  Maybe we can get some of these old photos to anyone interested.

I have been very anxious to find out about Jimmy (James G.) Massie.  Somehow, I heard that he had died, but haven't been able to confirm it.  I have 'googled', but to no avail.  I'm hoping that someone knows for certain whether Jimmy is living or has passed.  He was so dear to me.

If anyone is planning a cruise to Alaska, be sure to contact me ahead of time. It would great to see anyone who comes through town. I also enjoy showing people Juneau and giving my "nickel tour."

Not really a response to any of what's been said - but I'm flying to Richmond tomorrow, May 26, to spend weekend with my Mom.  She will be 96 on Sun and we're having a little family birthday gathering.  I'm not sure if there would be any time to get together with anyone who's there, but if you want to try give me a call 313-673-6202.  I arrive around 5:30 Wed night and leave Mon afternoon.

Hello, everyone.   Looking at the 1970 History portion of the website brought to mind that the movie M*A*S*H had a rating such that you couldn't see the movie unless you were 18 which, at the time, I wasn't.  So I didn't see it until years later!  My, how times have changed!

Carole,

As far as I know Jimmie Massie did pass away in 1995.  I remember reading the obituary and being devastated. I even researched it some at that time to be certain it was the same Jimmie Massie in our class.  I remember him as being someone who could always make me laugh (or at least smile).

Thanks, Carol.  I did chat with Barbara Seldon this week, and she was able to confirm that Jimmy had indeed passed away in '95!  I remember SO many wonderful things about him...but, one of my sweetest memories is the memory of his eyes!  No man should have had such beautiful, long eyelashes!  Oh, how I coveted those eyelashes!! Thinking of him makes me smile.  You're right, Carol.  He made most everyone smile. God rest his soul.
