NORRIS, Ravee III, 60, of Richmond, lost his courageous battle with cancer at home surrounded by people he loved, on Sunday, March 10, 2013. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Ravee Norris Jr. and Susan Goddin Norris; and his daughter, Jennifer Colburn. He is survived by his loving wife, Anne; and their children, Rebecca Colburn, Chris Colburn and Emily Hoyes (Elijah); his beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, James, Lucas and Savannah; his siblings, Wright (Ellen), Charles (Marella), Tommy, Robbie, Stuart, Sue Boughner (Tom) and Sally Benjumea (Jose); and a host of nieces and nephews. His sweet, gentle spirit will be missed. Ray was a 1971 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, and worked in manufacturing with Hamilton Hybar and Eternal Technology Corp. The family will receive friends at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013. There will be a memorial service at First Baptist Church, 2709 Monument Ave., at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, followed by fellowship in the church dining hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice .
